Questions
How does the CMS detector work?
Every platform leaves fingerprints in the page: file paths like /wp-content/ on WordPress, cdn.shopify.com on Shopify, static.wixstatic.com on Wix. We load the page and look for them.
Why does it say it could not tell?
Some sites are custom built, hide their platform, or sit behind bot protection. Headless sites (a CMS behind a separate front end) often show only the front-end framework, such as Next.js.
Is it free?
Yes, it is free with no signup. We keep each result for an hour so repeat checks and shared links load fast, then it is deleted.
